So, full disclosure, I haven’t had time to play video games in probably close to 10 years so I’m sure it will be a little outdated but I would probably have to say the games that blew my fucking mind would have to be the original Super Mario Bros, Half-Life (2?) and Portal.

When I think of games that totally blew me away those 3 spring to mind.

What do you feel is the most unique, innovative or most mind blowing game you ever played?

Whoops, forgot about Final Fantasy 7. That game was fucking amazing as well.

FF7, The Witcher 3 and The Secret of Monkey Island are mine. Monkey Island got me into video games at like 10, FF7 got me hooked at like 13 and the Withcher blew my mind at 35.

GTA....when i was a kid I always hoped a game came out like this where it's just an open world and can do whatever you want

Fable is up there... Ocarina of Time. GTA3. Wii sports and everything Nintendo did there. Great choices listed already.

I don’t know. My one friend who I turned on to MGS back in the Snake Eater days bought Death Stranding and said it was a weird hiking game that you drink baby blood and Monster Energy drinks, plus it was pretty boring.

MGS 5 was good for the first few hours then went off a cliff after they fired Kojima. I was looking forward to DS, but it just sounds too weird and boring.

If you dont like MSG5s gameplay i guess i would skip it.

DEath standing is weird AF, but the gameplay is one of the most interesting I have ever experienced.

Its like no game you have ever played IMO.

Most modern "Innovative" games don't become popular, it's usually the ones that optimize the innovation become popular. First Person RPG's have been around since the early 80's.

So I say Ultima I.
