From sin city the scene where Marv finds his lawyer locked up on that ranch and she says “he made me watch” and showed her chopped off hands then showed the severed heads on the wall, pure fucking terror in the theatre for me

TzTinkle - The first time I saw the person in the bear suit in The Shining.

It's so random and out of place. It shouldn't be horrific, but it is. Gotta credit Kubrick for his presentation of it.

There's a lot of disturbing stuff in Jacob's Ladder, but this scene stayed with me. Both unsettling and, uh, arousing.

Tim Robbins' character sees his girlfriend dancing at a party, getting it on with some kind of... creature.

Penetration is heavily implied, and then - for a fraction of a second - impalation.

The protruding horn is only screen for a flash, but I still remember it all these years later.

Signs. When they first show the alien walking outside with the video of the birthday party with the little kids looking out the window. They are showing it on the news and Merrill is watching the TV in the closet and the kids see the alien for the first time. I. WILL. NEVER. FORGET. THAT. SHIT!

Don’t recall the actress, but at some point I saw a scene that included a prolapsed butthole. That shit was instantly burned into my brain. Then I came.

territied is an interesting choice of words... not crossed boundaries of morality, or sickened, but actually terified? are you sure?

there's distasteful, brutal, immoral... terror?

You know, De Niro was 53 when he did that scene. He wasn't really an old man. Middle aged, sure. But not a senior citizen.

Why are people naming horror movies? That's the whole point of a horror movie, to try and terrify you.

How is it unexpected to see messed up scenes in a horror movie you numpties.
