Hilarious how many people here think a young Hindu woman who identifies as Hawaiian before American can win the presidency. She’s anti gun and let me say again she’s a Hindu. Maybe you guys live in big cities where that wouldn’t matter, but I assure you that 80% of the population would view that as a negative or at least as weird. She’s also not that sharp on her feet and Trump would kill her in the debates.

No bro it's just that the msm and the military industrial complex are suppresing support for her

Warren.

Biden and Sanders are too old, and we’re due for a female president.

Tulsi is the 2007 Obama. Under-qualified, relatively unknown, but appealing to new voters and can excite left of center voters. People forget how much of a gamble he was for Dems. Dems, particularly, seem to have forgotten.

Safe won't win against Trump. If you look up safe in the dictionary, it's a picture of Shotgun Joe with Elizabeth Warren standing next to him.

I hope it is Biden. All trump would have to do is play the creepy joe YouTube video on repeat as commercials. It would proably get censored as child porn as Biden molests children over and over on video.

Some combination of Warren/Booker or Warren/Mayor Pete would be their best bet, but it would have to be coupled with a major Trump gaffe and an economic downturn.

I use to think that Harris could be a threat, but watching her debate has proven that she is totally unlikable, she is a bitch. Women will hate her, she will remind men of her nagging wife, and black males won't like the fact she locked up their buddies over drugs she laughed about using herself.

At this point Warren seems to be "folksy" enough to appeal to some of those blue collar workers Trump stole from the democrats, and if you paired her with a younger, energetic, less ideological VP, it could work, but it would need lots of mitigating circumstances to bolster them to the top.

Biden is frankly too old. He is struggling badly right now just trying to stay on message, debate, and not look like a fool. There is no way he could endure a long campaign where he would be required to hit 5 states in 5 hours and give multiple interviews.

By comparison, Hillary was flying through the race at this point, not really making a total ass of herself. It was the grind of the general election that really took her toll on her.

So if Biden is struggling now, imagine a year from now, in the final stretch. He would probably we more frail that she was.

---

I think a total shoe-in for the Democrats would be Michelle Obama, but she would have to WANT to be President and I am not sure she is that into politics. However, they could be holding her back for 2024, for a mere fact a loss to Donald Trump would totally destroy much of the Obama legacy. It would be quite embarrassing.

But she would resonate with female voters, reign the black vote back in, get Barak back in the spotlight (he is still a rockstar in the Democrat party), easily steamroll her opponents, and rebuild the Obama coalition while exciting young voters.

The primary race would have to be a real mess, with no solid leader, and a mightily struggling Trump administration, for her to jump in, IMO

Beto is dangerous because of his personal wealth and deep political connections in Texas. Texas is getting less conservative every year unfortunately and there would be a chance the Dems could swing Texas if he were nominated. He's of average intelligence and if not for his wife's vast wealth and political connections he wouldn't be a threat.

Buttgieg is young and intelligent. Graduated from Harvard and then served in the military and was even deployed to Afghanistan. He's also from the Midwest. His major drawback is that he is gay.

These would be the two most dangerous in the general election. Biden is a 'safe' choice but he was below average in intelligence even before old age hit him.

Michelle Obama is the one person he doesn't want to see there

I think thats the opposite of what Trump would want. He wants nothing more than to tee off on an Obama. I am sure if Barack wont do, his husband Michelle would be just as good. Then he would make her defend all of Baraks failed policies that Democrats in 2019 now rally against. "Hey Michelle, didnt your wife Barack run on strong borders and tough immigration?"

Theres a very good reason Barack wouldn't  endorse Biden as Biden basically wants to run the Obama platform and it simply cant be used anymore. Even elected Democrats are scooting further away from them now.

Trump bringing up obama's centrist immigration policies would be really bad for michele.

Warren - (I think he'd get slammed in debates against her... besides Trumptards cheering him calling her names while not being able to hang in substance)

And Michelle Obama won't happen, but she'd win in a landslide. Her overall approval shits on all of them.

Michelle would be a problem.

Trumps lucky Ted Cruz ate a booger on live TV, and didn't cover up his creepy vampire face with a beard in 2015.

If Sanders was younger then I see him saying all the right things. It depends what kind and how much change Americans want to see.

The wildcard is the economy. If there is a recession the battlefield is leveled. If no recession, I don’t see a Dem winning. It’s a long ways off though. Lots can change

I really wonder where this confidence is coming from with the right.

Trump is polling markedly worse in the states he won in now and its not like he won by a significant margin the first time.

Pura Vida - If Tulsi magically was nominated she would win.

No. She wouldn't.... no 36 year old woman going to win the presidential nomination. Outside of the OG, I never hear anyone talk about her.

The only person with a chance is Delaney and he is done.

She is articulate and calculated and has history on her side. She’s no Hillary.

Not singling you out at all... I just see a ton of people on here thinking Trump has this in the bag and in many cases will win by an even larger margin despite the data trending in the opposite direction.

More of an observation, not a directed statement.

Cheers.

Buttigieg,

Young, smart, thoughtful. Kind of like Obama, young Billy, JFK. Whenever the dems run one of these guys, they win.

When they go for the old, well-known commodity -- Gore, Kerry, Hillary, they lose.

Biden. His staff can hide his dementia through carefully stage managed appearances and he wont get annihilated in the debates. This country getting a senile president would be poetic justice.

Biden would be an 82 yr old pants pooper by the end of his term. His mind is already gone.

Is that who we really want for President?

This. I also believe Kamala Harris would stand up to him just based on sheer meanness. But Warren would be his most dangerous matchup imo.

Biden's got to put on his depends every morning and Bernie's an angry old asshole with no chance.

Warren's far to the left, but is a formidable opponent imo.

Biden is a pedophile and the trump campaign will very likely not fail to show that to the masses over and over again.

Makes sense. It’s way too early to say for certainty how it would go and we learned polls don’t mean much so they just muddy the water.

If the economy tanks I think Trump is looking at bad odds though. Only two presidents won re election in a recession I read. Obviously one is FDR, not sure who the other one was but I don’t see Trump bucking that trend. It’s supposed to be his strength so if it sinks

I am looking forward to Biden's creepy pedophile behavior being fully exploited by the Repubs. I don't think most people know how bad it is.

For now, he got a pass from the dems as " just a kindly old affection man".

Trump won't give him a pass on it.
