this place was awesome. Something truly special. but now it’s just a memory of that. 
 

hell must have froze over because the UG is now more entertaining than the OG. 
 

sad to see this place go to ruins.

It doesn't have to be a sub forum.  They could make the PG on regular forum like the OG.  It would be on the same level and would probably quickly overtake the OG.  But it would give people a place to go to get away from it. 

Right now it's like being in an apartment with 30 other roommates where you don't have your own bedroom to retreat to.

I don’t think so, there are a hell of a lot of threads that have nothing to do with politics and you guys kind of see what you want to see. How do you know how many posts there have been since the last thread like this? There have been members that take a hiatus from this place but sometimes they come back and it’s a revolving door of sorts with a lot of prominent posters still here. Like the one guy above wrote, the OG is a reflection of the real world, and you guys can also ignore threads or members you don’t like you don’t have to click.

Your correct that this does mirror the real world.  But let’s be real, do you really want to come to your favorite forum to have a pointless argument?  99.9% of the political threads turn into arguments.

I've had my mind changed on here several times.

But I'm also interested in having actual discussions instead of pasting headlines then running away or posting emotional nonsense.

If the manchildren on the OG could communicate like men and form actual arguments, then our political threads would be a lot more productive.
