Old Grand Dad 114 is one of the best bourbons you can get in it’s price range.

Their bottled in bond version is really good as well.

For those of you that like Old Fashions, you should check out Gary's Original Old Fashion mix.  You can get a 32 ounce bottle for $20 on Amazon.  If you are in Wisconsin, most liquor stores carry it for about half that amount.  You basically mix one shot of it with two shots of bourbon and then mix with 7up or Sprite.

That sounds fucking disgusting. That's not how an old fashioned is made.

Woodford Reserve but every time I drink it I try and put it in my GFs butt. She lets me but it takes ALOT of work.

I only drink bourbon and moonshine though, as far as liquor goes

Templeton Rye Whiskey. Not a bourbon but better then any bourbon you’ll drink

I love Bourbon

Woodford is, in my opinion, the best value whiskey for under $50...

From a mega distillery in Indiana that makes lots of other brands' ryes including Redemption, Angel's Envy, Bulleit, Filibuster, George Dickel, High West, James E. Pepper, and Smooth Ambler.

Templeton also adds some additives that would not be allowed in Bourbon.

Decent stuff, but it is no where close to great bourbon.

I know it's not bourbon being from Canada but my simple palette really enjoys Canadian Mist...

My buddy is a collector and has thousands of dollars worth of bourbon in his house. Bourbon has become very hoity toity in the past few years. People review bourbons like they are fine wines:
"caramel notes, old leather, baked goods, dried cherries..." whatever.

now that i have bitched i really enjoy the following:

Evan Williams
Jefferson's Select
Noah's Mill
Angels Envy
Wild Turkey Select
Weller when I can find it is awesome
Sazerac

Wild Turkey

That 101 proof?

I normally don't go for 101 proof, I don't like the taste as much and I've also had a few seedy mornings the day after drinking 101.

And sure, I love a lot of the Bourbons being suggested but I am not spending that kind of money on just casually drinking. I'll buy a nice bottle of Blantons or a higher rang Wild Turkey-eqse like Russell's Reserve if I'm celebrating something, but otherwise I love Wild Turkey - it tastes great and it's real bang for your buck.
