Elijah Craig small batch. It's disappointing. Not nearly as good as their 12 year old. The 12 year old was my favorite bourbon.

Just finished a bottle of eagle rare. It was okay.

How difficult is it to find the Weller bourbons (Special Reserve, Antique, and 12 year) where you live? It's nearly impossible in Wisconsin, but I scored a couple bottles of Special Reserve over the weekend in Chicago. One bottle was from a mom and pop shop and the other was from Binny's.  Those were the only two bottles that I came across and I hit up 7 or 8 stores.

What part of Wisconsin?   Maybe I can be of assistance.

Green Bay and that would be awesome!

I’ll be in Green Bay over the holidays.

Anything in particular that you are looking for?

As far as bourbon hunting in Green Bay, Woodman’s gets decent stuff during the week.

The Festival Foods gets Eagle Rare for around 23$ per bottle as well.  It’s hit or miss there but I’ve walked out with some decent stuff.

Got a bottle of Caribou Crossing from Superior Discount Liqour over thanksgiving.

The Weller 12 year or Antique would be great if you can get your hands on either of them.  Let me know what you would be interested in for a trade.

Fell into another bottle of Antique 107.

Let me know what you have to trade.  I’ll be in Green Bay later today.

Right now I have 4 open bottles:

Makers Mark
Filibuster
Jefferson’s Reserve Old Rum Cask Finish
Jefferson’s Grand Selection Chateau Suduiraut Sauternes Cask Finish

and I just picked up a bottle of Old Forester 1870 that I've never tried and I am going to open in a little bit.

Currently my only unopened bottles are Old Grand Dad 114 and David Nicholson Reserve.  I have to head out of town tomorrow for a funeral, but I will be around most of the day on Sunday.  If that doesn't work for you, it's no big deal.

Sunday works.

And I’ll just sell it to you for my cost.  No worries on the trade.

Pm me and we will meet up.
