What's you ratio? I made a small batch of 2:1 Weller SR & OGD 114.

How long to let it sit for?

60% WSR 40% OGD 114. Some people recommend going 60/38/2 with that last 2% being ER, but that is a very insignificant amount in a 750 bottle that I can’t imagine it making much difference.

I’d let it sit for 3-4 weeks min. I let mine sit for about 6.

I just did this with OGD 114 and Rebel Yell 100... About 50/50

Nice win.

I signed up but didn’t get drawn.  The 2019 Smble was my favorite bottle from last year.

put some port in a barrel for a month, drank it, then aged some OldGrandad114 in the port barrel and it came out dark red with raisin, plum mixed with the cinnamon peanut of OG114

i generally don't get high on my own supply, but in some cases having a liquor license is nice

with case discount, 19.88 per bottle. this one's coming home with me to accompany national cheeseburger day.

^Been drinking one this week. For some reason I don't like it with any water, not a drop, not a splash.

Finally just drank it neat last night and I guess I must not be a fan of Knob Creek.

120 proof Russell's Reserve and Kentucky Spirit store picks by the same shop, same person picking them dont come off this hot, surprised how disappointed this bottle was to me. Different strokes.

Can someone explain store picks to me? I see people say that all the time but have no idea what it means.

Store pick is a private barrel that is purchased and bottled for a store, restaurant, etc.

I really am digging this Russell’s. I want to try out some Rare Breed next, possibly some 1910 or the toasted Elijah Craig if I can find it. I might tear into some Milam and Greene triple cask tonight as well.

Ive never seen anything labeled “store pick” in person, so I’m wondering if any of the stores I go to even get barrels selected for them? Guess I’ll have to ask around!

You have to find a locals stores that select barrels. It will have their name and or stickers on them. The high demand ones will sell out in minutes as people are waiting for for them like Blanton's or Weller's.
