My girl has relatives coming over so she wants to pressure wash the driveway so it looks good. Some punks are wanting to charge $195. Others $349 wtf?!?!

No way am I paying that when I can just buy a pressure washer for that much or not much more (hell, maybe less) from Harbor Freight.

Any recommendations on what is the minimum PSI I should be looking for, or anything else I should be looking for in this regard? Last thing I want to have happen is spend some coin for a pressure washing machine, then its not powerful enough to really clean the driveway, then I have to hire those dorks for $195 and am out that AND the cost of the machine...

Thanks!!!

Electric shlonger? I assume you can't keep anything with a carburetor running...lol.

Just get a cheap 1600 psi electric with an oscillating tip. Spray some cleaner from lowes on the driveway first then hit it with the pressure washer and...shlonged!

The ultimate schlong.  Buy the most expensive pressure washer, use it, then return it.  Bonus points get the fancy soap for it and return that also.

I just bought an electric one this summer, I think it's 1200 or 1300psi. It works great and is enough power to clean or strip everything that I've tried it on.

Concrete you’ll want 2000psi or more. You can make it work with a lesser one but you’ll wish you paid those kids $200 to do it for you.

I pay a guy $150 at the beginning of every summer to pressure wash my house. It's completely worth it. Pressure washing a driveway? Grow a set of balls and tell your boyfriend to get his ass back in the kitchen.

Let's ask the real question here. You really want a girl who is concerned with impressing family members by havihava spotless driveway? I got advice for you. Run, dont walk away. If she is that anal about a driveway I can only imagine how bad it is with anything else.

got a ryobi 2000psi for about $200.  its strong enough to get most things done.  you really don't need anything above that for most consumer jobs.  above 2500 and you can fuck up concrete and paint on your car.  my sister fucked up her trex deck with mine.

So, for the non-trolls, it sounds like this one is just the ticket?

https://www.harborfreight.com/lawn-garden/outdoor-power-tools/pressure-washers/2000-psi-max-performance-electric-pressure-washer-56877.html

2000 PSI, multiple nozzle angles, electric, etc.  Plus I have a coupon for $189 for it.  Also there is 20% off ANYTHING for the month of September, although I don't know if I could get both that and the discounted $189 price.  All sounds good?

Thanks!!!

Not as much truth as when your mom tells me she wants me to take it out of her mouth and stick it in her mouth so she can suck it clean...

I was looking at the 1750 psi one for $79. Does anyone know if the extra 250psi is worth the extra $100?

60000 psi should be able to cut most things.

Concrete you want at least 3k psi 3200 psi is recommended. Source: I pressure wash on the side. Don't go cheap you may as well use a nozzle on a garden hose. But you should get a 5k psi. I think they are only 3 or 4 grand. Definitely shoot yourself in the fool with a 5k it feels amazing.

Silly Schlong

Go on eBay and buy a Simpson 3000-3200 psi. Great washer with Honda motor.
