128 GB hard drive

13” screen

8 gigs of ram.

2 USB ports I’ve never seen before that need a $25 adapter for USB that everyone else uses

$1500 for the computer

Fuck this company. They get more and more expensive and give you less and less while changing every port to something proprietary that won’t function without some other proprietary adapter. No way to update or upgrade any internal parts. This is what happens when business degrees take over. Zero creativity while nickle and diming the consumer. I hope they go under and take every board member down with them.

Dont worry you can buy a new one after it updates and pretty much bricks it.

How do companies get away with this shit and still manage to keep raking in money? It’s so dishonest and insulting.

You've never seen a USB-C port before?

Edit. Here you go. Dual USB stick for when files need to be transferred to ye-olde machines with USB-A:

Yea, it’s definitely insulting to the people who think USB-C is “proprietary.”

Also, what is the dishonest part?

This has been Apple's business model for at least 20 years, I doubt it stops working anytime soon.

I bough an ipod in 2004 and then nothing else from Apple since. It worked great and there wasn't anything else to compete with it, iirc.

But now there's nothing they sell that isn't available from someone else for less money and less hassle as far as I know. Been windows and android only for 15 years.

I don't care if they make giant piles of money from mostly selling nonsense to dummies who want status and such things.

I don’t know. Why do morons pay a thousand dollars for reissued sneakers with some different colors?

Apple products are worth every damn nickel.

I’m no fanboy but you get what you pay for.

My MacBook Air is several years old and has not had a single problem.

My iPhone 8 runs flawlessly.

Wireless charging AirPods...amazing.

Don’t worry, I’ll vote myself down.

It is hard to justify Apple's prices. Before it was about build quality and stability, but Windows has improved dramatically and you can buy some really nice PC laptops with the same spcs as Apple, but half the price.

Your wife bought at very small laptop for 1500 dollars and you're mad at apple? lol. They're clearly doing something right when they have millions of morons buying their products, paying an arm and a leg for them.

Absofuckinglootly

Had a MacBook for 4 years and I LOVE it.   Fuck windows.   I run 4 programs and the last straw was when my 1 1/2 year old windows machine crashed four times in a row trying to open them one at a time.    I also use it once or twice a week and the piece of shit windows would need ten minutes of updates everytime

i went to use it.

The apple runs flawlessly, updates are almost unnoticeable, no shitty antivirus fucking shit up, the thing just works.  Is that to much to ask windows?  To just fucking work when you turn it on without knowing how to do a bunch of nerd bullshit to make it work.

Eat dicks windows apple for life.

Bought my wife a used MacBook Air about 7 years ago. It still works perfectly. I’ve never had a windows product that wasn’t a total piece of shit within 2 years.

I honestly don’t believe anything you said is truthful. You greatly exaggerated the good and bad of both.

Have you ever spent $1500+ on a windows product?

People tend to compare $300 low spec windows laptops to $1500 or $2000 apple apples and it's just dishonest.

If you buy a $1500 Windows laptop it will be going strong for years.
