Dangerousdoug - Await further instructions was another weird one that if u liked circle ud probably dig. I thought circle was better tho. Cheers.

A good one I watched recently was with Nicolas Cage actually, the color out of space, baed on the hp lovecraft story. quite good I must say for a newer horror flick.

The Color Out Of Space I own actually, but haven't watched yet. I've heard good things. Nic Cage has been in some real good ones imo. I even like his remake of The Wicker Man, but the original is better though.

Yeah, will do soon. I started it once, I had a torrent but the torrent was bunk and froze like a quarter into it.

Yes watch both 1 and 2. Great flicks. the way they set everything up is super creepy and well done. not just torture porn like most think. I remember hostel 3 got the best reviews but i remember that 1 being the weakest of the 3 imo as it has nothing to do with slovakia or hostels and takes place in vegas but an interesting twist. Ill have to check it out again. but 1, def watch hostel 1 and 2.

theres an alternate version with a different ending to hostel 1 u can find online thats a lot more fucked up than the original. cheers.

Darkness with Anna Paquin. It was mostly her looking "afraid" or "weirded out", one jump scare that in no way fit with any other part of the movie and an ending so bad the entire theater boo'd as it ended when I saw it. It looked like bits of other B horror movies boring parts stitched together with virtually no narrative of any kind. Between that and Rogue, I want to make hate to Anna Paquin's butthole in a mean, unlubricated way.

A few years back I went to the movies to see “the devil inside” with my wife. The kid at the counter told us before going in if we didn’t like it we could get a refund because it was so bad.

As far as big budget goes, nothing beats Rob Zombie’s Halloween movies

About 90% of horror movies are terrible. The good ones are awesome, but the vast majority are garbage.

The wicker man with nic cage.

The Halloween with Paul Rudd is maybe the worst movie of all time.

Terrifier.

While the guy who did the silent makeup clown was not a bad actor, and the movie did tick the torture porn box is that’s what you want to see...

There was no background of why the bad guy was bad (or silent) or why he targeted particular people, and there was virtually no plot whatsoever.  Just some silent clown in makeup going from killing to killing.

Terrifier had a very cool looking villain but did nothing with it. No background, generic characters and low budget. The whole movie is in the trailer. I was very disappointed in it

There's a sequel coming out but I don't have much faith in it. The first one was too grimy for me, the gore added nothing to it

The correct answer is Manos: The Hands of Fate. It doubles as both the worst horror movie ever AND the worst movie ever.

both movies op mentions were great. especially the VVitch. movie was horrible. slow burn misery. it follows was a cool idea and done well. though even as a big horror fan it's 90/95% shit.

It follows had the problem of being oveehyped.  I kept hearing it was the best horror movie in decades, etc.

When I watched it I was severely underwhelmed, and it's not hard to impress me with horror.  Probably my favorite genre.    I guess that's the "cool" one to like, but I thought it was lame.

To answer op's question, troll 2 is the objective answer.

Vogels films are dogshit, but, that’s kinda the point of them. They’re not even really movies, just excuses to show depraved shit, more artistic expressions. I can’t fucking stand his stuff, but Fred is one of the nicest, most genuine dudes you’ll ever speak to
