  • I was just listening to a podcast where they were giving the worst one for every year of the 2010's. They had It Follows as the worst of 2014, and The Witch as the worst of 2015. Both are great imo. What are some of "the worst" ones you've seen?

I would say Tusk. But then I rewatched a few weeks ago and actually found it hilarious.

The worst horror film is a boring horror film. This is why so many terrible ones (Night Of The Bloody Apes springs to mind), are fucking fantastic

The Conjuring series is fucking terrible barring a semi decent first entry. Jeepers Creepers 2 might be a contender. Zombies remake of Halloween.. Saw 3 onwards are all absolutely worthless

Some Daniel Radcliffe film... woman or lady in black I cannot recall... Full of jump scares and lazy writing. No thought went into it.

Anyone that put It Follows as a "worst" is a fucking retard.

But the worst I've seen is a movie called Deadcon on Netflix. It's about social media influencers staying at a haunted hotel during a social media influencer convention. They're killed off by a ghost/evil computer program/they never honestly figure it out.

To emphasize how bad this movie is - they forget the main characters name like halfway through the movie and start calling her something else, and someone gets killed by a Bugs Bunny balloon.

Did you watch the Tusk spin-off, Yoga Hosers?

No. I can't imagine it's any good from reading the synopsis.

The Exorcist 2. Great cast, great budget, fundamentally retarded script. It made no sense.

The prequel to The Thing was pretty bad, mostly because they recycled John Carpenter’s version. Nothing original or unique.

feardotcom is one of the worst movies I've ever seen.

Couldn't make it 30 minutes into Winchester before turning it off. Just a bunch of jump scares packed into a movie with no story.

House of 1000 Corpses is fucking retarded and stupid.

It's astounding how some of the horror movies I've seen (and I'm a massive horror fan I watch everything horror, shudder rules FTW).... get funding. Who the fuck reads the script and says... Fuck yeah I'll put in 400k for this dumpster fire.

Horror is the only genre that had the most garbage constantly put out.

Still love it though

I just watched the worst yesterday. Antebellum.. Just wow, it is advertised as a horror movie but it's more like torture slave porn. Seriously, the first hour and 10 minutes is white slave owners beating and raping black slaves. Then the rest is nonsense with a ''the village' type twist at the end only Lamer

Haha I wonder the same thing. I see a ton of modern horror flicks that look like they are filmed on some camera made in the 90s. Generic characters, bad acting, generic plot and I can't make it through 15 minutes. Who is watching these kinds of movies?!? I can watch low budget 80s slashers all day long but the ones I described above, I cannot do it

It Follows was actually pretty good. It had an interesting idea and some genuine scares.

Alien Covenant. What a shit level of writing. Prometheus had the same issues, but Alien Covenant dialed it up to 11 with the stupid.
