Why do people keep talking about China misrepresenting data? Do you believe in the U.S. accurately representing data?

I believe the data they are presenting is as accurate as far as the information they have collected.  But the fact that they aren't testing hardly anyone means the numbers aren't worth a god damned thing.

From that I would glean that many more are infected than reported, by orders of magnitude, but the amount of people dying from it is nearly accurate, as those with severe symptoms are most likely to get tested.  This would mean that the mortatlity rate is much lower than reported.  Similarly to the flu, the mortality rate of confirmed cases is 10%, but it is estimated that for every "confirmed" case, there are 100 that do not seek treatment, so the mortality rate is estimated to be .1%

Yes, they are.  Unless you think doctors are not reporting it, or you think the various health organizations, like the CDC, are ALL secretly ripping up reports.  Where do you think the numbers are being manipulated?

Jspeed are you going to post my follow up post to the one you quoted me on Cire, where I publically apologized to him?  Or would that not fit your agenda?  Actually I think it would show I'm actually capable of not only acknowledging other people's points, but I also can admit if/when I was wrong.

I'd post a quote of you acknowledging someone else's point, or you admitting you were wrong....but that has yet to happen in 42 pages.  I'm done dealing with you, it's unproductive.  Ignore list you go. Along with dadicus. Ya'll are toxic.  It's okay to have differing opinions but when you try to make it personal, it makes it seem as if your angle is based on emotion over logic, and I can't.

So any guesses on how long it will take to hit 200k?

Reported?  By next Friday.

Looks like even sooner than that.

I'm terribly, terribly saddened that someone who thinks magnesium and potassium are vitamins is going to block me.  I'm sure I would have learned a lot from you.

I think the U.S alone had 1500 new cases just today ..they were averaging around 1k cases a day before that. The numbers are about go crazy.

Except our mortality rate is 5.4% less than theirs

The most important metric appears to be 'cases per capita'.  US is getting up there but they aren't at the level of Italy or some European countries (yet).

they just kicked out more journalist trying to cover what's going on there. That's not a good sign for anyone wanting to say they're being honest.
