Hey Soup and Beer

Fyi I tried to send you a personal message and when I clicked on the envelope icon next to your name, it wouldn't allow me to send it that way.  I was able to create a message and insert your screen name so I think it was sent successfully, but check your inbox to make sure.  And you might want to inquire about why I couldn't open a message to you by clicking the envelope icon.

no problem, I sent one back to ya

I posted this in the other thread but thought I'd share it here as well:

Based on the last week, if these rates hold for 10 more days we will be at 100,000 deaths.

The Army takes the coffins out of Bergamo for cremation out of Lombardy, a land put to the test, which fights relentlessly against evil.

It is a heartbreaking image, which hits with the force of one hundred, one thousand punches. (1/3)

Too many deaths compared to official data» Mayors ask for more transparency

Compared to the regional report, a significantly higher trend in deaths emerges. "Official cases are only the tip of the iceberg."

"The official cases? The tip of the iceberg "," We have a different perception of the data "," from day to day it is getting worse "," The numbers they give us are not very reliable "," unfortunately the deaths are many more than those of the reports ». These are the words of the Bergamo mayors, sentinels of the frontier in a territory slain by the coronavirus.

This is interesting data.

Kinsa manufactures smart thermometers that are distributed throughout the U.S. The info from those thermometers goes back to Kinsa.

They just went online with a map by county of the U.S. showing counties showing an unexpected spike in fevers, which helps predict hot zones where COVID-19 may be clustering. They already identified a region in Florida where it is spiking before the CDC was aware. This is also useful as it can help prioritize where to send resources such as testing kits.

Some definite spikes in counties in Florida, Michigan, Ohio, NY, Missouri, Kentucky, South Carolina, Illinois. You can switch to display where the levels are higher than expected based on historical data during flu season.

Will be interesting to look at this change over time.

according to redneck, the virus is not even a real virus, its just a fake number in a power play by "them"

According to reality redneck has some sort of undiagnosed brain damage.

Based on the above map and the partying behavior of college students on Spring Break in FL and elsewhere, those students are going to be bringing back a shit-ton of COVID-19 to their communities.

This is apparently how the young get revenge on the old for destroying the world with global warming. Generational war

Are these widely in use?

Doesnt seem to show anything atypical in the washington area which was one of the hardest hit

I'm not sure the degree of market saturation they have. My guess is that absence of evidence isn't evidence of absence - that is, if they don't have good coverage of an area that doesn't mean it's not spiking, but if they show spikes in an area, that it is probably a hot spot.

Italy now has more deaths than China.

And half the reported cases. China's math doesn't add up.

some will say its because of the old population in italy

but italy has 60 million people  total and china has like 240 million people over 60 alone

I dont trust any of these numbers. The test kits doesnt just create themselves. Where are these factories that creates these tests? People are dying and they wont report it as a corona case because they were never tested.
