This was from another thread, but thought it deserved its own thread. (VIDEO POSTED BELOW)
Today we got to see Donald Trump using basic mind-control techniques to push out his message when speaking to the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
During the speech, he actually says this:
"What You’re Seeing and What You’re Reading Is Not What’s Happening."
~ Donald Trump
His comments today are a perfect example of his schtick.
Following the comments where he says:
"What You’re Seeing and What You’re Reading Is Not What’s Happening"
Ordinarily, this should be a shocking comment and lead folks who hear it to become uncomfortable and more cautious. In order to assuage the crowd and preclude them from exhibiting that caution, Trump then returns to his primary emotional anchors (i.e. the feel good slogans):
- "Make America Great Again" and
- "Keep America Great"
These emotional anchors help to keep the crowd focused on the simple messages that feed their patriotism and sense of belonging. It also helps to keep their guard down and more likely to readily accept whatever he tells them.
And he repeats these things over and over again.
It is actually quite funny seeing the mind-control in action.
You have to give him credit for it. He is a marketing/propaganda genius.
Fascinatingly enough, it is highly effective. All you have to do is hang out on the OG to witness its efficacy.
Just thought this was worth exploring given how ludicrous his proposition is to any fair-minded individual.
“The Party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command” - 1984
