Ok brother 200 swings, 40 TGU’s, 100 push-ups and a 10 km run. That’s a decent Saturday morning. Now it’s time to clean up and get ready for a roughrider win tonight.

Missed a day of swings and TGUs yesterday as I went on a little road trip and then to see Jim Jefferies last night. I did get 30 mins and 5 kms of hills and 50 pull-ups in though. 

I’m splitting up the swings and TGU’s today. I got 100 swings, 100 push-ups and 50 TGUs in at lunch.  I’ll see how many more I can add along with my regular workout tonight and hopefully make up for the day off yesterday.

Ended up with 200 swings, 100 push-ups, 60 TGUs and a shortened regular arm workout today

Bumping this bad boy as I’m limping into the finish.  I’ll likely be done the Thundergut 3 challenge in the next few days and I wanted to give “public” credit to the man for making a significant difference in my fitness levels over the past several months just because he posted this thread.  Thanks Chaz!

And it’s done!  Averaged just over 263 swings and 52 Turkish getups over 19 days.  Chaz the challenges this spring/summer were no joke.  They totally recharged my workout routines and I’ve lost over 10 lbs.  

keep posting the challenges man and keep swinging those bells!

Where you at Burt Macklin??

I hurt my shoulder and my masters program has been kicking the shit out of me. But I haven't given up!

I'm actually still working on challenge 3: 5000 Swings and 1000 Turkish Get Ups. I am way behind schedule, but I'm not gonna stop till I've done every rep.

Also I'm doing a new challenge simultaneously: Jog 100 miles over 100 days. I am a big fat guy so that is a pretty ambitious number for me. I am 4 days in and I've clocked 5 miles so far.

Hope you are still out there grinding. Keep getting after it dude.

Hey man all is good with me.  Actually that’s BS I messed up my hips running this summer and I’m just nursing myself back to health. 

 

Good to hear you’re still at it.  I actually went hunting for my paper where I wrote down the thundergut 2 challenge to see if I’m ready to push it again. 

 

Keep hammering away big man.  I’ll come after you for another challenge when I’m ready and able
