Thought I would post this lower body circuit.
In this video I'll take you through an MMA strength workout that focuses on the lower body. This MMA strength workout will help develop overall strength and power needed for all combat and martial arts athletes.
Strength and Power Lower Body Workout
Perform each exercise and super set for the prescribed reps and sets.
(Make sure you warm prior and stretch after this workout
1a) Heavy Barbell Squats 5 x 3-5 (rest 2 minutes)
2a) Speed Deadlifts 4 x 6
2b) Heavy Kettlebell Swings 4 x 8 (rest 90 Seconds)
3a) Barbell Lunges 3 x 6
3b) Jumping Lunges 3 x 8 (rest 90 seconds)
Superset #3 4a) 1 Leg 1 Arm DB Romanian Deadlift 3 x 10 4b)
Swiss Ball Leg Curls 3 x 10 (rest 90 seconds)
Cardio Finisher 5a) Mountain Climber Tabata Finisher
