My Dad has decided to compete in the next NAGA Southwest grappling Championships next month in Ft. Worth, Texas!! (Feb.20th)
WOOO HOOO for Dad!!

I recently awarded my dad with MY old purple belt. He has trained for several years and grapples regularly with a group of mostly Oklahoma State Troopers. He will top off the DIRECTORS Division. He is dedicated and he is tough and of course he is in Phenomenal shape!(he played pro ball back in the day) His name is Larry Rundle.
I will be reffing NAGA that day so we will get video.
UG- show some love for my pops for having the balls to get on the mats at 72 years of age.

That is awesome and inspirational to see someone of advanced age still on the mats. The dedication, passion, and love usually exhibited by the sort of person for what they do is usually a very special thing and is a privilege to be around. Major respect for your father. Definitely grab a video of the event and share!

It's in our genes.I just recently got my BJJ BB. I am 47 and I am active in MMA and BJJ. My Dad had his knee scoped and was back on the mat within a month!!
He is one hell of an inspiration and has always set the example for me and others.

Yeah I'll check with Kirik and see about a word or two about him in Gladiator Mag. Thanks for the kind words. keep it up UG as he may see this and I know the support will be huge to him.
I gotta check with Kip also and see if he is the oldest competitor ever at NAGA. thanks kr
