I think he just got the dead leg from those calf kicks. I don’t think he attempted to check any of them. That’s a problem with his wide stance.

Nope, he just got kicked in his leg, which nobody ever does to him. It's that simple. Stop looking for excuses OP.

Conor completely abandoned his kickboxing and went to mainly hands, boxing. Yes he threw a couple of kicks to head and legs. Not many. His whole stance was off. Look at his more martial arts/KB/TKD/Karate stance in some fights throwing flashy kicks then working the hands after the response to kicks. He would figure people out. He sent out there trying to be a boxer. Bad move and it cost him. Poirier figured it out quick. Fighting an almost pure boxer was easy money. Took a few shots, which Dustin does better at 155 and destroy the leg and land good head shots. Well done.

His stance was def different. No longer karate side on with arms out wide.

Someone needs to tell him he has the crutch on the wrong side. Works way better when done correctly.

From what I was told, you’re never supposed to use one crutch and have to use both crutches at all time. When I had my left ankle scope done. I tried using one crutch and it was not very stable whichever side I put it on. I can only move without worries when I have both crutches!!!

All for show, he'd rather act like his leg got fucked instead of admitting he was bettered in the boxing

If you have one crutch you put it on the side of the good leg & basically use it (in his case) as a left foot & your left foot as your right foot, keeping the weight from posting on your actual right foot.

Yep it basically becomes a standard cane, so it goes opposite the affected leg.
