I think Al wants it more and has more tools to win plus cardio. Conor does have a hell of a left and good boxing so I give him more than a punchers chance but I pick Al for having a bigger heart.

The sport of MMA must lose half of Conor's "fans"

Al would absolutely annihilate Conor if they ever fought.

Al fought and shutdown Khabib during all 5 rounds of their title fight in a masterful performance.  That fight was made on less than 24 hours notice, and Al gave Khabib all kinds of trouble in the cage.

Conor had years to prepare for Khabib, but Khabib still absolutely mauled, brutalized, and humiliated Conor before he finally finished him.

Conor's more well known for being a loud-mouthed, tantrum throwing quitter, who's little more than another walking cliché, like Jon Jones is now.

Nobody's even remotely afraid of Conor anymore, and I can almost picture Al screaming in his face after Conor gets KTFO'd by him, lol.

My 2 cents Raging Al uses his grappling and gets a submission on the mat for some reason I don't see this being a stand up fight.

I think its closer than people think. Laquinta was never Koed in his career, he can take a shot. McGregor will need to catch him really good to KO him. Laquinta also seems to have a very respectable striking. He has beat both Masvidal and Lee. If he can mix up his take downs and striking well enough, and more importantly, abuse his cardio advantage he could win.

If I was Al's coach, I would tell him to clinch and dirty box for around 2 rounds and then when he senses Conor start to slow, just turn up the heat until he Conor folds like a house of cards.

After Floyd and Kahbib both finished him, Conor has lost his aura of invincibility.  Al is super confident right now while Conor is on the rebound.

Big McGregor fan but not sure he has it anymore...Iaquinta looked way better against Khabib using the A versus B = C theory.

I think Al takes it. He has a great chin and better wrestling.

Conor is a more precise striker, but with the exception of the Aldo fight (where Aldo all but leapt onto Conor's fist), Conor has never displayed true one-shot-kill power.

One-shot-stun power, yes, but I can see Al shaking off any such shot and not succumb like Alvarez did. Diaz was certainly able to do just this in the second fight, and Al hits a heck of a lot harder than Diaz and has far better takedowns/wrestling.

Al's on a roll right now, and is anything but mentally weak--i.e. he will be immune to Conor's mind games. I see him getting the win.

I'd pick Conor.

It would be 5 rounds and if Al made it past round 3 well Al would have a good chance.

Ahh fuck it I love Al so Yeah I pick him!!!!

I don’t think the khabib fight is a good measuring stick for them...it didn’t seem like khabib was trying to finish Al in their fight, while he was openly trying to embarrass Conor. Al hits hard but I think Conor takes this one, although not easily.

Al is red hot right now and Conor's aura has been broken. I'd bet Al, but in the back of my mind, I'd be thinking about all the times Conor wrecked wrestleboxers.

I don't think 2019 McGregor fares well against the LW top 10. He'd have much more success at 155.

Prime Conor was like Crocop with a complete capoeira game. Max was being swarmed by bees in there.
