I think you might be right. Dude was a monster at his prime and after that he almost killed Frye and now he fights Datsik who I think is not a very good kickboxer so TIMBER TIME

the central body mass helps Datsik generate tremendous power on his punches. After he dismantles Jerome and Aleks, though, he's going to have to scale it back in order to be within cutting range of 265 for his much-awaited run at the UFC belt

If it even happens I would probably go with Datsik. Which tells you all you need to know about where Jerome is at these days, if the Kharitonov fight and ones before it didn't tell you enough already.

No question Le Banner is the better fighter. He simply has more skill. But this incarnation of Datsik if pretty freaky. He is like a fire hydrant that hits with bad intentions. I can see him being unorthodox enough to KO a 47-year-old JLB.
He just seems like he would be a handful in any combat situation. He is the perfect combo of size and insanity.
