In response to the novel coronavirus global pandemic, three UFC events are or will not happen on the scheduled date. However, UFC president Dana White said that the next scheduled event, UFC 249: Khabib vs. Ferguson on 4/18 at a location he is 99.9% sure is set, will be held, and the fights from all three shuttered events will happen, if the fighters want to fight.
“All these fights are being rescheduled,” said White to Kevin Iole, as transcribed by Farah Hannoun for MMA Junkie. “Once we get the Khabib fight on, we’re rolling, man. We’re back in business, and we’re rolling. And like I told you earlier, everybody that’s going to fight because they want to, not because they have to.”
