Makes sense.

Blows all his money on cars and a rap career then becomes a SJW. Soon he'll be asking for govt handouts.

Damn.
thought he'd pick someone from the long distant past, not still on the roster.

Like Tito?

I think guys like Tito, Conor, GSP (not that there was SO much friction) made him and the company a lot of money. So it comes with the territory.

Funny after all the shit guys like Conor, Tito, Jones, the Diaz brothers have pulled, Woodleys poor old me victim routine is the most annoying.

The fact he did so speaks for itself

It's all leverage and positioning / negotiating - he's not out there naming names by accident; there's always a purpose behind it.

Most tedious is what he’s saying

Honestly he was given every oppurtunity, even his last two fights are against top competitors, became champ, and at the time people were even saying he could be best welterwegith ever. I remember thinking he was dominant as fuck. But he just kept whining and complaining and over time it made me dislike him, and now watching him on his downwards trajectory has actually been very pleasing while watching him scream vicitm the whole time

I love this, cos now he has said Woodley you can totally imagine it being Woodley. For all of Jones, Conor and Diaz’s nonsense, Woodley pouting and feeling hard done by is what has wound Dana up the most.

And it certainly checks out. It’s not like the UFC didn’t try their hardest to push Woodley as a star, instead he does terrible interviews, stops fighting well, points fingers at everyone else, and finds a way to make himself incredibly unlikable at every turn.

Why would Dana need to play 4D chess with a guy nobody wants to watch?

“you won’t fight this guy for this money Tyron? Aww shucks! We’ll sit down with you in six months and try again.”

And they gave him a job behind the mic too so... when the victimhood stops with this guy? Crazy

I think what Dana is trying to say is he was the hardest guy to book fights with. Jones appears to be super easy. If he's healthy and not suspended, he says yes...all the time, will fight tough guys like Cormier and Gus, and will also fight less marketable guys like Smith or Santos. When Conor is in the mood to fight, he fights. When he's not, he stops entirely...it's not long and annoying negotiations. Same for the Diaz brothers. They either accept the offer, or say no and move on.

There's been numerous times where Woodley has said he wants to fight, then calls out Conor...and Dana is like "are you serious? You're the WW champ, and you want to call out a little guy?" Then he calls out Nick Diaz who hasn't fought in years. Always talking about how he wants a big fight, turning down fights with contenders. It doesn't seem like it's ever a "yes" to what the UFC offers.

Dont recall the UFC trying to push Woodley, they dont really push anyone except for a very select few; Conor, Rhonda, Omalley, Izzy.

Could you imagine how big of a victim Tyron would have acted like, had he been cut for turning down fights?
