Just seemed agitated with questions about the 155 division and was pretty short with the media

Yeah it was strange how quick the PC went and how quickly his mood changed after the question about the vacant LW title. He borderline stormed off.

Seemed okay to me.  I think he was coming down from a momentous event and the conclusion of another fight island event that has to be a bear to put on.  Five weeks spent overseas, huge event, huge conclusion, and now, in many ways, more questions than answers.

But, he says this shit every press conference... That they bust his balls about matchmaking and he simply doesn't have an answer.

2020 turned out to be quite the body of work for the UFC, but it definitely had to be worked for.  Probably a little burned out.

This.

It’s been a tough year and he’s worked his ass off despite what folk think of him and the money he earns. Just think how wealthy Dana is yet he still puts in one hell of a shift.

Yeah maybe the PPV #s aren't great but what do you expect with the main card starting in the early afternoon for most viewers. That maybe combined with a majorly hyped fight that wasn't very competitive.

It sounded like he was completely deflated.

Maybe had something gigantic lined up for Khabib and those plans are now dead.

Doesn't this mean McGregor can fight for titles again?  Wouldn't that be Dana's silver lining here?

He absolutely hates when champs do this.

When you hold the belt the ufc has 99% of the power.

But they can't take the belt if you already dropped it on the floor and they can't make you fight if you don't want to. I think it really bothers him when he loses that leverage. Guys holding out, guys wanting out of their contract? He can fuck you because you still care. That's why they call it fuck you money.....

i wouldn't blame him if he's disappointed. they missed a chance to market a retirement fight and this didn't even play in prime time. had they known khabib was on his last fight, do they go ahead and put together GSP instead of Justin?

It is difficult for people who are in charge to deal with people like khabib,  who make decisions that are independent of the almighty dollar. he is a rare type of human.

This makes sense. Conor is now favoured to take the belt in January.

They got so much from the Abu Dhabi owners that the PPV numbers don’t matter. He’s sad that he lost one of his biggest stars.

He has to beat Diego Sanchez to earn it
