I get that as a business owner, it's hard to watch your shit just walking out the front door without paying.  But this isn't actually *BETTER* for business, it's worse.  That's a tough pill to swallow, but it's also true.

Exactly. Someone less fortunate might see a stream ppv, fall in love with the sport and change the game some day. With all the guaranteed money ufc is making why now with the piracy angle

He's 100% lying.

Any decent streamer is using VPNs and proxies. And they aren't even streaming directly from their own computers. The VPSes they use to stream are tunnelled and VPN'd behind private VPN providers (non-American companies) who keep no logs.

So unless he's talking about some facebook boomer sharing links, there's no way a legit streamer is going to get got by Dana's liberal arts major interns.

Lol yeah. The technological means to stop potentially thousands of streams just doesn’t exist. A small fraction of them may get taken down at some point but most end up going back up again. To me this sounds personal for him, maybe we have a DAZN-like situation where a UFC employee or fighter is streaming fights to people.

The fact that the UFC keeps screwing North America with ppv's that are free for the rest of the World says a lot.

Why bother changing your model if people are dumb enough to think they deserve to pay more because they live in North America.

There is zero respect for the fanbase or the fighters both in Zuffa times and now.
