StretchPlum - A DQ loss in my book. Not some unfortunate thing that just happened. A deliberate illegal move.

He should have known before the fight if he could use it.

They probably had it for AFTER the fight and he tried to squeeze it in during.

How did the commission not step in?  Or notice it?

Someone said he could.

Hardy said it was USADA approved and so maybe they thought it was ok.

It may be approved but not IN THE MIDDLE OF A FIGHT!

Are they going to start letting Nate Diaz vape a bowl inbetween rounds now?

People saying it is usada approved are dumb. Gatorade is usada approved, you still can't drink it during a fight.

ASAP NV - USADA approved.

It can be USADA approved but not to USE in between rounds.

It just means that when testing they are aware it may show up in the results.

Using it between round is blatant cheating.

Hardy and his team should know this.

Whoever told him he could use it was an idiot.

Can you eat chicken between rounds?

LOL!

Not only did he refuse to engage, but he cheated to keep going and not engage.

If Hardy gets this then I suspect we are going to see a lot of fighters have their docs prescribe inhalers after this...

I think it was just a fuck up by a member of AC, hard for them to overturn it if he was told to do so but completely illegal

One criteria for overturning a win to NC is if an official incorrectly applied a rule.

Thank you.  I have since seen the clip of them allowing it.  Unbelievable.

The TUE may allow for it but not DURING the fight.

Come on, it's easy to see how it's an unfair advantage for a guy to suddenly have his lungs open up in the 3rd round.

Especially a guy who has never been to the 3rd round and is know to have gas problems.

Its morally tough, but yeah shouldnt have used it. Expecting him to argue that he could have had a full on attack, but then, you wouldnt continue to fight if there was a chance of that... he doesn't have much of a way back..

Does anyone here have asthma or understand how it works? Why would we want/need to use it during a fight?

Imagine the carnage we could've seen if inhalers were allowed in the Kimbo vs Dada 5000 fight.

There are two common types of inhaler one prevents and the other opens up the lung surface to allow more oxygen absorption.

i had asthma as a kid but sometimes need the one that helps me breathe if I get a chest infection or flu.

So Hardy using it would have helped him breath and improved his oxygen uptake after using his inhaler.

Nobody said he could use it in the clip I have seen. Greg Hardy asks if he can use his inhaler, someone offscreen asks "is it medical?", then Hardy immediately says "yes, it's USADA approved" and without a response grabs the inhaler and uses it

Do you guys think Hardy uses an inhaler in between the rounds of beating up women?

Albuterol takes between 5 and 15 mins to work. Fight was probably over before it took effect.  Why even use it?
