Here you go. Drop the 125 lb weight claaa, add 165, move 170 to 175, and 185 to 190. While you're at it, drop the 265 lb heavyweight weight limit. Size has diminishing returns at some point.
One of the major issues with adding a weight class is "The UFC doesn't want more champions that they have to pay a % of the PPV revenue to." So get rid of the 125 lb class, and they'll still have the same number of champions/belts.
Another issue is "it will water down the 155 and 170 lb divisions". How so? The UFC has more guys under contract at 155 and 170 than all the other weight classes combined. It needs to be thinned out. Plus heavyweight is thin, so adding the 3-5 superheavyweight fighters who can compete at the level helps there.
Adding 165 and changing 170 to 175 and 185 to 190 would allow more guys to cut less weight and be able to fight closer to their natural weights. The jumps from 155 to 170, and 170 to 185 are just too much.
