Who gives a shit whether he won or lost a close decision.
He was supposed to dominate this fight to show that Conor's knockdown of him was a fluke due to jet lag/exhaustion/being out of shape/thinking it was a friendly spar/whatever other excuse....
Instead it was a close decision against a mediocre MMA fighter that went 2-5 and washed out fo the UFC.

I said it before, this fight furhter proved that conor got the best of him if artem was able to do what he did...and i'd wager conor is light years ahead of artem

Sorry, but one guy was named "Paulie" that is an automatic loss of 3 rounds.

Paulie showed nothing but class.  Fought hard,  dominated,  and didnt make a single excuse or complain about the robbery.  A real paisan.

Class? Since when is spitting on people classy? Paulie is a low rent prick. I'm glad he lost.

See my other post.  I thought I was being clear enough in my sarcasm.  My mistake.

Alls I know is, Paulie was very humble in defeat and acted like a gentleman to Artem, even knowing that he was robbed by the decision. Instead of making excuses, Paulie made friends with Artem and the fans.

It was good to see them hug it out afterwards. Also, the touch of gloves after 3rd round was a good show of respect

It’s almost like he was playing a character in order to sell tickets, but is actually a respectful and level headed guy.

Was this a boxing match or an MMA match?

Is it something between the two?  I'm not even really sure what criteria to judge it on.

Is it the most jabs landed?  Then clearly Paulie won.

Is it supposed to mimic a real fight?  Because I'm pretty sure Artem would whoop his ass.

I appreciate fighting sports in general, but this seems an inferior sporting event.

Esattamente! He went in, did his job, was humble about the whole thing, and made the best of a bad situation. Straight Brooklyn.

I hope you guys are joking! Humble? Humility is not the appropriate attribute
