Nervously imitates Conor in every interaction they have. I am surprised he didnt shit himself at the weigh ins.

Hooker is too cocky, he will fall too.

I just got a Conor & Chandler Parley at 2.73, place your bets and thank me later.

This, I value my hard earned money. That’s a toss up.

I dislike Conor to the fullest but I couldn’t agree more. As soon as I saw the weigh ins my first reaction was this is a wrap! Sucks

Look, I haven’t seen it TBH

But isn’t the UG a graveyard of wrong predictions based on a weigh in?

Still picking Conor

You may be right, but on the basis of Conor and Mike being the better fighters. Placing bets on weigh in reactions doesn't sound profitable.

Dustin probably should be nervous. This is absolutely a legacy/career-defining fight for him against what he may perceive as a psychological boogeyman. If he wins, he's officially at that elite level, imo. If he loses, he was just another serial over-achiever than wasn't quite elite. He probably just has a lot of nervous energy waiting around until fight time.

Conor is an absolute character. He truly has an aura about him. I think people may find they need to match that aura, but aren't sure how, when it comes to promotional duties. Nate Diaz was the perfect foil since he's generally got an attitude and dismissive nature about him. Guys like Dustin who act professional like they are in a job interview tend to get lost and aren't sure what to do, imo.

No doubt Conor is the heavy favorite and should be, but I remember everyone on the internet doing body-language videos claiming Conor was going to walk right through Khabib based on how uptight Khabib was.

We'll see tomorrow night.

I think I’d favor Conor but I would not count Dustin out and I don’t think he is scared or starstruck

This. Dustin is coming in there to take Conor’s head off. I think if anything, he’s taken back by how friendly Conor is being. But he knows he has a job to do. If Dustin loses it will be because Conor is simply on another level, not because he was mentally checked out.

I thought Dustin looked like a deer in the headlights at the press conference, he was displaying a lot of nervous tendencies.

I usually don’t read into things like this, but I’ve watched enough of Dustin Poirier buildup & interviews over the years to know he didn’t seem like himself.

But all that matters is what you do in the cage, I’m going with Conor but I’m definitely not counting Poirier out.  A fight is a fight.

The “friendliness” seems to be working against him.  It’s a different form of psychological warfare before the fight.  I think if Conor trashed talked like last time it would be Dustin advantage since he’s matured more and doesn’t want to make the same mistake 6 years ago.  But this time it’s all hugs and smiles, it’s gotta be a mind fuck.  I hope Dustin puts on a great fight tomorrow.  Both he and Conor have been on Abu Dhabi time since they arrived, so they’re both preparing for a morning fight at 9:00am.

I agree with everyone's take he  ( Dustin ) certainly feels all those things. It'll be a good fight.
