Former UFC champ champ Conor McGregor owns Eire Born Spirits, which controls his Conor McGregor's Proper No Twelve Irish Whiskey.

Becle SAB de CV controls Proximo, the owner of Bushmills whiskey, owns Jose Cuervo Tequila, and held a 20% share in Eire Born Spirits. Now Becle has exercised an option to buy an additional 29 percent stake in Eire Born Spirits; it paid 1,531m pesos ($69 million).

That puts a valuation on McGregor's whiskey business of $237 million.

Yeah, that makes sense since that’s what he fights for. What are you some type of gay guy with the “lololol”?

How much does conor own?

Or how much did he own because now it’s at the most 51%, so he may be majority owner

good for conor though, all if that value has been generated off his name

Celebrities endorsing alcohol brands more and more.

Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul have a tequila brand called 'Two Amigos'. edit - its Dos Amigos

George Clooney made a fortune off his brand, which sold for a billion dollars.

It's an interesting market and good on Conor for a wise investment EVEN THOUGH IT'S NOT PROPER 12 ITS MORE LIKE PROPER 3 YA CUNT MATE

UltimateKeyboardWarrior - Good for him.

My thoughts exactly.  I love hearing about fighters that are doing well outside of fighting.

I bought a bunch of bottles to give out as gifts, without his name associated I wouldn't have bought it. Good for him

There were a couple of dorks on here talking about his “failing whiskey brand” a while ago.

SAMMY HAGAR built up his CABO WABO Tequila brand and sold it for $50 Million to a big conglomerate

Smart of Conor putting his money to use to build a life long brand beyond his fighting years

Love him or hate him, that's incredible.

There's no reason for him to ever fight again. Ride off into the sunset and enjoy it.

He’ll need to fight to some extent to maintain the brand IMO. His image and success is the reason it’s worth that much.

I think you missed the point.

He has fuck you money NOW. He doesn’t need to grow it into fuck you money by prize fighting, he did that part already.

Whether that money increases or slows to a drip, it’s more than he or his children will likely spend in their lives. And that’s just the liquor.

Conor absolutely does NOT need to fight anymore.
