My son, Alex, aka phillyfights, passed away last Tuesday. He was a long-time member of UnderGround and a frequent contributor. I've had the app on my last 3 phones, and though Alex wanted me to join and take part in the conversations, I have been content to share through him the threads, the stories, the arguments, opinions and insights that he enjoyed for so many years. He respected this community. He opined and argued. He was passionate about MMA. He loved his Philly. He shared a lot of himself with you. Today I joined. I joined to honor him and bring my sad news. I am heartbroken and I miss him. This was an important place for him, and I don't want him to be forgotten.

I am sincerely sorry for your loss sir.

I am choking down tears right now, honestly....

Dammit, I just don't have the words.
