I had it 114-113 GGG, but it could go either way.

Deveryanchenko should be the winner.  There's no robbery here, a great fight.

I think GGG should have been clinching earlier instead of just staying on the inside and covering up and letting Derevychenko land body shots.

I see a draw. Too close with that knockdown.

That's too bad, that's part of the business.

Those Championships Rounds were the difference where GGG dug deep and started clinching on the inside and didn't let Derevychenko work on the inside.

But, that being said, 8 rounds to 4, then factor in the knockdown, in my eyes. Not a fight GGG could afford to lose.

Those body punches fucked GGG up the whole fight. The ref was interfering in the action every time he got hurt..

Adjustment that GGG is going to have to make is to start clinching on the inside and keep the fight mid-range. On the inside, his work is getting smothered and he seems to just have the bag habit of just staying there to rest and not do any work which leaves him susceptible to body shots. He's not the same machine he was before at his age and needs to fight more tactically to his strengths.

Clenbuterol took some as well.

Good fight, I had it on my phone while watching UFC 243. Needless to say I didn't follow it closely enough to score it but two thoughts popped up in my melon. GGG is clearly on the down slide and Derevyanchenko is a very good fighter. He showed me that against Jacobs & did it again tonight.

Good fight. But, GGG looks old. Slow punches, couldn't pull the trigger, no reflexes to slip or counter punch,. And, even though he still hits plenty hard, it's easier to take them when you can see them coming. He's going to look bad against anyone with quick feet & head movement. He's a likeable guy. I'd rather see him retire than get picked apart and beaten up badly. His chin's too good. He'll end up taking a horrific beating eventually. Think JCC vs Oscar or Kostya. If he retires he can make a reasonable claim of really being undefeated. Hopefully he doesn't let his pride get the best of him.

I thought he pulled it out. But it could have went either way. He looked his age tonight.

If they run it back I'd bet on him to lose. I think this is his last moment as an elite guy. Hate to see him get in with fast hungry guys like charlo and Andrade and they get a win and crow about it as if he wouldn't have finished them both in the same night if he was 5 years younger

No account I've read describes a "gift decision".  This wasn't a robbery by any stretch.

I view it as a robbery in the sense that Derevyanchenko fought his ass off and should he have won? I think so. I'm probably the biggest GGG fan around but Derevyanchenko fought constantly backing GGG up, hurt him to the body.
It was only a robbery in the sense that Derevyanchenko rose to the challenge and fought a damn near perfect fight. In a rematch, can he do it again? Time will tell. At the end of the night we were treated to an all out war between two tough MF'ers.
Really wonder if that cut had anything to do with how Derevyanchenko fought. being called a headbutt and them thinking it could be stopped at anytime and go to the cards might have pushed Derevyanchenko to fight harder than what his typical game plan was.

All I know is 2 things for sure.
1: I'm ready for GGG vs Derevyanchenko 2
2: Fuck all those in attendance that were booing GGG after that fight

The knockdown and cut likely helped Derevyanchenko. I think if they fought the technical fight they wanted to, it would have favored GGG a lot more. If you try to box GGG, you're giving him space to get his offense off. When you bring the fight to him and push him back, you can smother his punches on the inside and take off some of the sting as well as work the body to slow him down, because he has a bad habit of just covering up on the inside.

Obviously, GGG isn't the same at 37, but he can still win at the elite level. He needs to make some tactical adjustments though. He can't fight like a machine anymore. He needs to be smarter and clinch on the inside to get some rest. Derevyanchenko was doing a really good job pivoting and creating angles on the inside to work the body and GGG wasn't adjusting at all to this until the Championship rounds when he started initiating some clinches.

Does anyone know where I can watch the GGG fight online? I can't find it on my usual site.
