UFC Hall of Famer Tito Ortiz fights Alberto El Patron in the main event of Combate Americas' debut pay-per-view show on 12/7 in Hidalgo, Texas. During a recent TMZ Sports interview, Ortiz stayed bold.

“I think I can beat Jon Jones,” said Ortiz, as transcribed by Farah Hannoun for MMA Junkie. “I think I have a good chance – I really do think I’ve got a good chance. If people say, ‘Oh, Tito, bull$#!@, you’re over the hill,’ whatever. Come to my camp. Come train with me. Come wrestle with me. Come do jiu-jitsu with me. Watch my weight training. Watch my biking and stairs that I do. I push myself harder than I pushed myself through my whole career. I’m doing amazing. My mind is in the right place, my body is in the right place.”

“Come on, why wouldn’t I? Pressure, pressure, pressure. You stay in that angle, the outside reach of him, you’ve got problems with it. You can’t just sit there and play his game.”

“He could be the best ever, but I mean, could have – not anymore. He tarnished his career so many times, so much stuff that he did in and out of the cage it just – God, it bums me out because I love the guy, man. He was one of the best light heavyweights to ever grace the Octagon.”

Bellator fighter Tito Ortiz was arrested on suspicion of DUI this morning in West Los Angeles after he struck a concrete median with his vehicle at approximately 4 AM on Northbound I-405. More details when they are available. Tito's blood alcohol level was 0.12 and the legal limit in California is 0.08.

How long until Jones puts out a condescending reply on Twitter, cuz you know it’s a necessity for him!

I think Ronda would lose to 90 year old Helio Gracie

He's got confidence - good on him. Hopefully it doesn't put him in a really bad position, though.

Not now, but when he was young he'd have a good chance.

I genuinely think he has never used. He has always been a huge dude and looked pretty much the same, even when he was fighting in no-name local events.
