The chance that both fighters make it to the octagon and the cage door shuts is infinitesimally small. If neither of the two fighters gets injured, as sure as we were all born, the NYSAC will fuck up the fight somehow. And not in a good way that sets up for a rematch. Something like an eye swelling and the doctor calls it.

Khabib pulverized and demoralized one of the most lethal strikers in the division in Edson Barbosa. No reason he can't do the same thing to Tony Ferguson.

Even considering that Ferguson is so talented, he could come out on fight night and absolutely dominate Khabib. Put a whooping on Khabib like we have never seen before.

But Ferguson is also just as likely to announce on fight day that he's quitting MMA and now studying to be a priest.

No one would really be surprised.

That's why the safe bet is Khabib.

I tend to believe the reason Dana wanted to meet in person was because they were planning to pay Tony well.

I believe Tony got voltron’d by Dana and Mayweathers posse giving him the ‘do you want to be a fighter’ speech, Tony had no other choice but to take the shit deal
