The above figures are the fighter payout information that promoters are required by State law to submit to the state athletic commissions; they do not represent a full accounting of each fighter's income.

Fighters bear significant costs including training expenses, a percentage to management, a percentage to the trainer, plus insurance, licenses, and taxes.

On the income side, fighters earned sponsorship of between $2,500 and $50,000 for wearing Reebok apparel in the Octagon, and during the week before it. Out-of-event sponsorship money too can be significant, although it is smaller for many fighters than it was in the past. In addition, four $50,000 'of the Night' Performance Bonuses, are awarded.

Further, main event PPV fighters can receive a percentage of the PPV gross, as contracted, generally at a rate that escalates with increased PPV buys.

Lastly, many fighters earn income from teaching, from appearances, and in many cases from regular employment in non-fight employment.

We Are All One Mean Species - I wonder how many of the fighters on this card will get PPV points. The champs plus Colby?

Kolby might have sold 30 to 40 views. He deserves shit.

Although we have no idea how much they spent on expenses (remember Rampage said he spent millions on a camp before?), I’d guess they walk with about 50% of their show + win + Reebok + sponsor + bonus. So half of their gross pay

Jessica eye is overpaid.

She only surrenders $14,400 for being 5 pounds overweight. What a luxury. She puts herself at a major advantage over her opponent, improves her odds of winning and moving up the rankings by a spot or two and securing a bigger payday in her next fight.

As has been said many times before, the penalty for missing weight needs to be much more severe.

All of their expenses are tax deductible. They should be walking with 75% or more of the money paid as long as they make over 50 grand. The less you make the bigger percentage of your pay is allocated to expenses. You can’t write off more taxes than what you owe.

I understand that. From what I’ve seen before most will pay 20% or so to the gym/trainers/managers/attorneys. Then as an independent contractor they’re likely paying 30% of that’s left to taxes.

But why is she paid that amount though?

Alot of u guys obviously dont understand, so ill help u.

Matt makes 80 and 80 because hes had alot of wins and your pay goes up every time you win.

Also, alot of fighters get paid signing bonuses or on other days then fight day. So it doesnt show up as fight purse. All champs and most title challengers get ppv %
