Macy Chiasson (135) vs. Shanna Young (134)
Mark De La Rosa (126) vs. Raulian Paiva (126)

The weigh-ins were not without drama.

Borg missed the non title fight flyweight limit by two pounds and was given an additional hour from the close of the faceoffs that follow the weigh-ins to make weight, but failed to, and has been fined 30% of purse. The fight will go on.

In April of 2019 Borg missed weight for the third time, and vowed to retire if he missed weight again: "I also want it to go on record that if I ever miss weight again or miss a fight due to anything other than a serious injury I will leave the sport of MMA forever," he wrote on his social network. "I'm coming back better than ever."

And when Nathaniel Wood stepped on the scale, he was announced as 136.8 pounds. Wood looked baffled, but his coach Brad Pickett darted forward with his fighter still on the scale and pointed out that the weight had been read incorrectly, and was, in fact, 136. It was then properly announced, and the fight was offiial.

Its sad to see Jim Miller so far down on the list.

Jim Miller, on 2 fight win streak (both finishes) fighting in prelims:

    • Tied (with Donald Cerrone for most bouts in UFC history (33)
    • Most bouts in UFC Lightweight division history (32)[
    • Most wins in UFC Lightweight division history (19)
    • Tied (with Georges St-Pierre and Michael Bisping) for third most wins in UFC history (20)
    • Second most stoppage wins in UFC Lightweight division history (12)
    • Most submission wins in UFC Lightweight division history (9)

Fighting on Main Card:

  • Brok Weaver: 1 fight in Contender Series, 0 UFC fights.
  • Rodrigo Vargas: 1 UFC fight - a loss
  • Mara Borella: 2-2 record in UFC, finished in last fight
  • Michel Pereira: 1-1 record in UFC, lost last fight to regional guy signed the week of the fight, missed weight, acted like a clown. Gets to co-main because he's fighting UFC HOFer Diego Sanchez.

That is one watered down card. WOW.

I probably won't bother to watch via free HD acestream nor even download in 1080p 60fps.

Ray Borg missed weight, coming in at 128 and forfeiting 30% of his pay to his opponent.

This is the third time he's missed weight at Flyweight, and why UFC lets him fight in that division is beyond me.

He's also missed weight once at Bantamweight. Four weight misses in 11 UFC fights. He won 2 of the previous 3 times he missed weight. I don't know if his opponents got a percentage of his win bonus.

He's also had 7 other UFC fights canceled due to illness, injury, or personal issues.

Borg's been with the UFC since 2014. His first 12 months with UFC were pretty excellent: A controversial split decision loss followed by 2 wins by finish and 2 performance bonuses. In the 5 years since then he hasn't finished any other opponents and he hasn't won any bonuses. He's 4-3 in those 5 years.

Jim Miller is always a guaranteed dog fight wherever the fight goes.  I still remember losing my shit when he subbed Charles Oliveria.
