Doesn't Reem train out of that camp? Would love to see their training sessions. I hear Reem is tough on training partners. Maybe it's why Jones never moved up.

As far as skill probably only Overeem. An Overeem with more cardio and a chin could beat him, even in a decision. Or prime Cain maybe.

Some guys like Lewis or Ngannou would have to put him away early, very unlikely.

Jones would be the betting favorite against ANY heavyweight on the roster. He kills Stipe 9.9/10

Overeem supposedly tooled him in training, but Jones has the better chin and really does shine in the
Moment. Overeem is on a decline now.

Jones has struggled taking down LHWs lately. A monster like Ngannou with very heavy hands and good striking would cause jones issues imo. Ngannou touches guys & it's lights out. Very heavy hands
Could KO jones

Stipe has good hands, wrestling and a chin. His power is next level aswell. He is very well rounded & I doubt jones bullies him in the early rounds...

Jones is a great mma fighter. His reach, athleticism and recently shown chin are all elite.
He's the greatest LHW of all time. His last couple fights haven't been his best

In the right circumstances many heavy weights can / could beat him though

The guy he beat twice (once by lopsided decision, and then by KO) was the HWT champ like 6 months ago, and was winning the fight until he got stopped late in the 4th round. WTF makes you guys think Jones struggles up there?

Reem and Mir used to maul Jon in training apparently, there is a reason Jon has not moved up yet, and a reason he looks like shit against guys of similar size

DC at HW without a cut is a different animal than the DC who cuts far too much to get his flabby ass to LHW, DC at HW beats Jon, and Jon knows it

You mean the steroid abuser, he's back on the level since he's been popped a number of times, even with his allowed Picagrams

Almost all of them.

His toughest fights in the current division would be Stipe, Francis, JDS, Blaydes, Volkov, and Overeem.

Everyone else is basically just another easy opponent for him.

I think the only issue for Jones at hw is he doesn't have big ko power. In every other aspect he's better than most heavys. I think he takes most heavys but Ngannou would ko him.

This. The bum, the careless, wild, spectacular, freestyle, cocaine, relax Jones was a killer.

The new serious, scared, boring, carefull, point fighting à la Greg Jackson/GSP style Jones is very beatable.

I predict if he moves to heavy, eye pokes will be the most common thread title content after his first fight.

I’d make him betting favourite against all of them. Stipe is a good all rounder not excelling anywhere, Jones would absolutely handle him, it will take someone with a devestating speciality to beat Jones. Stipe has many glaring holes in his game

Ngannou has the best chance with his power in my opinion. Honestly I don’t see any other HW being competitive with Jones. A lot of people underestimate how big a Jones who hasn’t just cut weight is..
