i thought he would be afraid of the ass-whupping that a rematch entails for him.

lmao sacrificed his undefeated streak to wear a dumbass costume that did nothing but incite racial tensions and turn people against him

He’s so oppressed that even his attire is weighed down by whitey

I could not believe how long it took to get both fighters in the ring.  Between those entrances and the post match karaoke there shouldn't be a single boxing fan to talk smack about MMA or even pro rasslin for that matter.

He will get 20-25 millions reasons to try again.

He’s arguably lost 17/19 rounds that they’ve fought so far.

I don’t really know if that immediate rematch makes sense for him

Nothing to do with Fury that's for sure!

I'm gonna go ahead and say that 45 pounds is a rather big exaggeration. Either way, if that was able to weaken his legs, then he was gonna lose regardless.

I think Fury's punches to his face, and body made him lose. That's a new one. Maybe not wear something that's going to wear you out before you get in the ring.

That’s a ridiculous excuse. Might have been the extra 20 pounds he came in with on his body, not the costume. His body wasn’t used to carrying the added weight. He gassed fast..

Wow, you can't make this stuff up

Full story coming to @TheAthleticBOX shortly: Deontay Wilder @BronzeBomber tells me he is definitely exercising his rematch clause for a summer trilogy against @Tyson_Fury, that his legs were weakened by his 45-pound costume he wore to the ring to honor Black History Month.

It's not signed so he can talk all he wants...he will never be the better boxer in that matchup and that was been made crystal clear 2x now. He is lucky they screwed Tyson last time out or he would have back to back losses.

Also, if a 45lb costume fucks you up you have bigger issues. He isn't that smart and the more he talks the more that is clear because that is one of the most pathetic excuses ever.

Not sure why people look up to these pansy assed athletes making excuses like that, how about throwing on a 50lb ruck and putting foot to dirt? He'd apparently die!

This makes sense. I also think he was hurt from the 2nd round on.

I thought Tyson’s entrance was amazing....for the first thirty seconds. When they had to loop Patsy Cline’s “Crazy” again after it ended I thought, “yeah, let’s get this fucking thing going already..”

And then post fight....dear lord...when he went for the second verse of American Pie I wanted to change the channel. Give me half the first verse and the chorus and we all smile and sing along but at a fucking point it gets to be too fucking much.

At the end of the day folks will remember the bullet points and those will only be positives for Tyson Fury. They’ll remember he rode in on a throne, beat an undefeated man down, and then sang his way home. Still legendary stuff.

Ladies and gentlemen. That is the clearest example of cognitive dissonance I've ever seen.

This man simply can not accept his present reality.
