I knew I shouldn't have mentioned anything about the mall incident that led to the whole armbar=kimura inside joke, hah. I hope you guys don't get a bag image about me or him after reading this, anyways here it goes: Me and Mach (we call him Mach and pronounce it "Mach" instead of "Maha" which is how Sakurai pronounces his nickname. We call him Mach because his fighting style is pretty similar to Sakurai's.) were at the food court after training in line at Arby's when I started asking him about the fight with Tim Sylvia and Frank Mir. Basically, I wanted to know how he would of got out of the armbar and what mistakes Tim Sylvia made. Well our convo got so animated that he decided to show me how he would of got out of the armbar right there in the line by demonstrating lol. I know it sounds weird, but we don't really care what other people think when it comes to MMA. So he goes in my guard and I apply an armcrush/armbar on him and he uses a few weird pressure points on my neck while he is stacking me to get out of the move. It was a pretty nifty trick. Anyways, we get up and we are both out of breath, and Mach says "thats how I would of gotten out of the kimura" because he is tired and not thinking straight. Behind us there was these three guys that were kinda making fun of us the whole time he was showing me how to get out of the armcrush, and one of them says "don't you mean armbar?" and his two buddies start laughing. Well, that was the final straw for Mach right there. This kid loves MMA, and if you disrespect the sport he loves, you are not gonna be happy. Mach tells them to all "fuck off unless they'd rather settle their problems in the cage" and the three dudes start laughing. Mach gets into it with these kids so bad verbally and gets so passionate about defending MMA that tears are rolling down his eyes during the argument, thats how much he loves MMA. Anyways we end up shoving the kids and then quickly running out of the line and to our cars before they could do anything, laughing our asses off at how retarded/pussified those dudes were. On the way home I'm like "so that was a kimura huh?" and we both bust out laughing. Ever since then we joke around and call an armbar/armcrush/armlock a kimura. Sorry for the FRAT

Guys I am not Doug, he is just a good friend of mine and my mentor in MMA so to speak. Also, I believe disrespecting a pro fighter on this forum is against the rules. Would you guys say any of this to Doug's face? I doubt it. He has never even been tapped out in training for about a year. You guys probably tap out like little babies every class, that is if you even do train, lol! The guy is a legit brown belt under Royce, and made a simple mistake that we now mess around with as an inside joke. No big deal. Like I said, he is a cool guy but doesn't know how to present himself on the internet. He is socially awkward, like most talented fighters are. Look at Matt Hughes or Mark Coleman as examples. And yeah, we did laugh at those guys. They were complete tools and didn't know anything about MMA. Like Doug always says "Why should I fight for free when I can make a few thousand fighting in the cage?" I always that was a very professional way to look at street fighting, esp when you are a pro fighter like Doug/Mach.

Hughes and Coleman can back up their claims with legit facts. You and your guy just talk crap about how we don't train and if we do, we tap like babies.. 9-0 as a pro Royce Gracie trained brown belt. isn't Royce training in his garage now? At least, thats what Renzo said a month or so ago.

DW- Thanks man. Me and Mach HATE people who act like they are badass fighters or know everything about MMA. They deserved what was coming to them. inf0- Its easy to know the difference between an arm crush and a kimura when you are standing there not doing anything. Like I said, if they wanted to mess with Mach, they could of stepped up to his challenge and fought him in the cage. ClayK- Royce doesn't have his own school but he has a network of schools under him in which he gives out rank. Mach has been under the RG network for a few years and made brown belt the fastest out of anyone in RG network history. Like I said, insulting pro fighters is against forum rules, would you say any of that to Mach's face?

StillGetCarded- It is real. Like I said, I'm not lying and saying I know a big name like Dan Severn or Matt Horwich. This guy is a good fighter but is socially awkward and probably should redo his myspace.

GT99- You are an idiot. This is not a troll. Doug seriously loves MMA, I'll try to get him on the board actually. I think the myspace thing is more of a desperate attempt to pick up girls. Retarded, I know. But remember what I said about his social awkwardness? Its true.

Like I said, insulting pro fighters is against forum rules, would you say any of that to Mach's face?" What network school does he train at? Who is his regular instructor? Not dissing him, as I have trained with Royce since 97 and as a purple working on my brown I will probably "make brown belt the SLOWEST in RG network history", but I'd be interested to know his statement is correct if he is claiming Royce and putting it out there like that...
