During a leisurely stroll down the sunny boardwalk, the last thing you’d probably expect to see is a dramatic, highlight-reel style knockout, but as established by an age-old idiom, one should always learn to expect the unexpected.
The following video begins with two young men approaching one another on a crowded boardwalk, and by the looks of things, it’s not so they can meet with a friendly embrace and spend the day enjoying the pleasant weather together.
They immediately assume their fighting stances and begin to circle one another. The overall competency of their movement suggests that they’ve done this before and the crowd’s immediate involvement points to the fact that this particular conflict was likely premeditated.
As the action commences, the young male wearing black misses with a low-kick but continues plodding forward looking for an opening. It’s not long before he finds one and his opponent’s chin as he connects with a savage high kick that face-plants his foe onto the pavement below.
If there’s a silver lining to be found in this tale of folly, it’s that the young man who landed the knockout blow shows immediate concern for his fallen foe and rushes to his side to put him into the recovery position, though having said that, it makes you wonder why he decided to kick him in the head in the first place…
