The most dominant flyweight in ONE Championship history and the MMA GOAT are officially running it back.

ONE flyweight world champion Adriano "Mikinho" Moraes (20-3) will defend his belt against No. 1-ranked contender Demetrious "Mighty Mouse" Johnson (23-4-1) in the main event of ONE 161.

The event will broadcast live from the Singapore Indoor Stadium on Saturday, August 27, but fans in North America will be able to watch the show live in U.S. primetime on Friday, August 26.

Moraes originally defended his crown against Johnson – a 12-time flyweight MMA world champion – in the headline attraction of ONE on TNT I in April 2021.

"Mighty Mouse," who won the 2019 ONE flyweight world grand prix to earn the world title opportunity, was widely considered the favorite.

However, the Brazilian shocked the world when he knocked out Johnson with a knee to the head in the second round. By doing so, Moraes became the only person to finish "Mighty Mouse" in the American superstar’s 15-year MMA career.

Since then, both men have tasted success.

Moraes submitted No. 3-ranked Yuya "Little Piranha" Wakamatsu via third-round guillotine choke to retain his belt once again at ONE X this past March.

Meanwhile, Johnson put ONE flyweight muay Thai world champion Rodtang "The Iron Man" Jitmuangnon to sleep with a rear-naked choke in their special rules super-fight later that night.

Now, all roads lead to an epic ONE flyweight world title rematch in August.
