Veteran featherweights Jason Knight and Josenaldo Silva are the latest additions to the Eagle FC roster.

Promotion officials today confirmed the signing with MMA Underground. The two are tentatively slated to debut against each other at Eagle FC 47, which takes place May 20 at FLXcast Arena in Miami and streams live on the FLXcast app.

Mississippi's Knight (21-7) is an eight-time UFC veteran who fought most recently in August under the PFL banner. Knight picked up three performance bonuses in his UFC tenure, and while officially utilizing "The Kid" as his fighting moniker was also handed unofficial nicknames of "Mississippi Mean" and "Hick Diaz" based on his aggressive, brawling style. Following his UFC run, Knight also took part in a handful of bare-knuckle matchups, including splitting a pair of contests with Artem Lobov.

Silva (29-7) is a Brazilian veteran who is currently riding a four-fight winning streak. He's actually won 21 of his past 24 appearances, with the three losses all coming consecutively while competing in the U.S. in the sport's biggest shows against elite competition: Marlon Moraes at WSOF, Timur Valiev at PFL and Adam Borics at Bellator. Silva has earned 23 of his 29 career wins by stoppage.

With the addition to the card, the Eagle FC 47 lineup includes:

  • Yorgan De Castro vs. Junior Dos Santos
  • Hector Lombard vs. Thiago Silva
  • Alexandre Almeida vs. Roosevelt Roberts
  • Jason Knight vs. Josenaldo Silva
  • Maki Pitolo vs. Doug Usher
