BKFC signs 11-time UFC veteran Jimmie Rivera


PHILADELPHIA – Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) has announced the signing of MMA superstar Jimmie Rivera to an exclusive promotional contract. Rivera is expected to make his BKFC debut in Orlando, Fa. at BKFC 25 on Friday, May 6, against an opponent to be announced shortly.

Fighting in the UFC and Bellator in addition to other MMA organizations and competing in the bantamweight and featherweight divisions, the 32-year-old New York City native has compiled a record of 23-5 over the last 12 years. He was consistently a top-5 ranked bantamweight while competing in the UFC.

"This is a huge signing for our company," BKFC president David Feldman said. "We've been working on it for a few months, and both parties are very excited to move forward.

"Jimmie's reputation promises excitement in the squared circle, and we can't wait for the BKFC fans to see him in action. It's truly a special day for BKFC to make this announcement."
