The final hurdle in this week's Ultimate Fighting Championship fight week festivities has arrived with the UFC Vegas 36 weigh-ins. The combatants on the planned 10-fight card took to the scales today, as they looked to make their matchups for Saturday night official. All but one of the 20 fighters hit their marks without much issue, including the night's main event participants.

The one fighter to miss the mark was a preliminary fighter, Jonathan Martinez. The bantamweight missed the 136-pound non-title limit by two pounds. It is the second time he has missed weight in his UFC career. Because of complications in this most recent fight, his bout with Marcelo Rojo has been removed from the card.

UFC Vegas 36 is headlined by a pivotal matchup in the middleweight division when top-10 talents Derek Brunson and Darren Till aim to insert their names into the middleweight title fight conversation. The card also features a cornucopia of UK talent, since the event was originally hoped to take place in London, England before COVID-19 case surges forced it out of the region.

UFC Vegas 36 takes place on September 4 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The card begins at 1:30 pm ET with preliminary action and is then followed by the main card at 4 pm ET. The entire event will air exclusively on streaming service ESPN+
