ONE: Bokang Masunyane vs. Jarred Brooks world title eliminator announced for April 22

As this month's "ONE: Eersel vs. Sadikovic" continues to fill, a key strawweight matchup that could earn the winner a title shot has been booked.

A high-stakes strawweight MMA clash between No. 1-ranked Bokang Masunyane and No. 2-ranked Jarred Brooks has been added to ONE Championship's next show.

The two star athletes will fight on the "ONE: Eersel vs. Sadikovic" card, which broadcasts live from Singapore on Friday, April 22, and the winner could secure the next crack at ONE strawweight world champion Joshua Pacio.

Masunyane has been flawless in his MMA career so far.

The South African dynamo holds a spotless 8-0 record, and he most recently knocked out former ONE world title challenger Rene Catalan with a head kick in just 37 seconds.

That impressive display earned "Little Giant" the No. 1 contender spot in the strawweight division, and he hopes a victory at Singapore Indoor Stadium will lead to a world championship opportunity.

But first, Masunyane needs to defeat Brooks, who also has gold in his sights.

The brash American owns an 18-2 record and is riding a four-bout winning streak, which includes dominant victories over former No. 5 contender Lito "Thunder Kid" Adiwang and No. 4-ranked Hiroba Minowa.

If Brooks emerges victorious again, then he would undoubtedly leapfrog Masunyane in the rankings and make a strong case for the next shot at Pacio's belt.
