Mixed martial artists from around the world will compete for a chance at a life-changing contract with the PFL. Week 7 will feature fighters making their professional debuts in the welterweight, lightweight, heavyweight, and featherweight divisions.

The 2022 PFL Challenger Series emanates from Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida and viewers can watch exclusively on Fubo Sports Network, the live, free-to-consumer TV network from sports-first live TV streaming platform fuboTV Inc. starting at 9 p.m. ET.

BOUT 5 – Welterweight: Andrija Stankovic (0-0) vs. Lewis Brewington (0-0)

Tonight’s main event features a pair of welterweights making their pro debuts in Andrija Stankovic of Serbia and Lewis "Big Ape" Brewington of the United States.

A second-generation kickboxer, Stankovic followed in the footsteps of his father, who was also a popular striker in Serbia. The 27-year old who trains out of the renowned Sanford MMA gym in Florida will be making his MMA debut with a chance at a life-changing PFL contract.

Brewington will own the advantage in experience, as he comes into tonight with a 7-5 record in the amateur ranks, including five wins by way of submission. He’s currently riding a four-fight winning streak, and hopes to be able to carry that momentum over into his highly-anticipated professional debut.

BOUT 4 – Lightweight: Christian Turner (0-0) vs. Chayanne Serrano (0-0)

In the co-main event, Christian "The Titan" Turner of the United States meets Chayanne Serrano of Cuba in a battle of lightweight debutants.

Prior to making the switch to MMA, Turner excelled in high school sports, competing in football and wrestling. In 2021, the 20-year old made the transition to MMA and immediately made an impact, going 4-0 in the amateur ranks, including a run as the NFC Georgia amateur lightweight champion. Tonight, he makes his pro debut on a massive stage, with the goal of taking home a PFL contract.

Born in Havana but now based in Florida, Serrano has also tasted gold in the amateur ranks. Serrano compiled a 6-1 record, which includes a 305 Fights Amateur Featherweight Championship win. Now stepping up to the big leagues, Serrano hopes to also move one step closer to capturing world championship gold in the PFL.

BOUT 3 – Lightweight: Alexei Pergande (0-0) vs. Joe Hamm (0-0)

In the first of two lightweight bouts, Alexei Pergande of the U.S. faces fellow American Joe Hamm

The son of a former Ukrainian amateur boxer, Pergande followed his father’s footsteps into combat sports and has done quite well for himself so far. Pergande owns a 4-0 amateur record and captured the Valor Fights Amateur Lightweight Championship. Now, he looks to capture gold once again, this time in the professional ranks with the PFL.

A student of six-time muay Thai champion Manu Ntoh, Hamm looks to make his coach proud when he steps inside the SmartCage for his professional debut. Hamm owns a 6-1 record in the amateur ranks, with four of those six wins coming by way of stoppage. He hopes to add another stoppage win in his first appearance on the big stage.

BOUT 2 – Heavyweight: Santino Zurita (0-0) vs. Rakim Talley (0-0)

In the heavyweight division, Santino Zurita of the U.S. faces fellow American Rakim Talley

A training partner of reigning UFC heavyweight king Francis Ngannou, Las Vegas' Zurita comes in with a 1-0 amateur record. Apart from MMA, Zurita has also competed in amateur kickboxing, and challenged for a title in IKF Kickboxing. Now, Zurita aims to capture his first victory and hopefully take home a PFL contract in his professional debut.

A former V3 Amateur Light Heavyweight Champion, Talley will enjoy an advantage when it comes to amateur experience. The Tennessee native comes in with a 9-2 amateur record, including seven wins coming by stoppage. Tonight he plans to add another stoppage win en route to his first professional win, and potentially a PFL contract.

BOUT 1 – Featherweight: Jaylon McDaniel (0-0) vs. Daeri Alderman (0-0)

Kicking things off tonight will be a featherweight bout between American up-and-comers Jaylon McDaniel and Daeri Alderman

At just 19 years of age, McDaniel will be the youngest debutant on tonight’s card. He made his MMA debut last year, and already has an impressive 3-0 record in the amateur ranks. Tonight he makes the jump to the pros with the hopes of scoring the first – and biggest – win of his young pro career.

Washington’s Alderman also comes into tonight with a 3-0 standing in his amateur career, which includes a win by way of the very rare buggy choke. Tonight he looks to continue his undefeated run and make a statement in his professional debut.
