Rousey home vandalized, first post fight pics emerge

Tuesday, January 10, 2017

The first post-fight pics of former UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey have emerged. The fighter looks fully recovered from the failed title challenge vs. Amanda Nunes. Unfortunately, the side of her Venice Beach, California home was vandalized with indecipherable graffiti.

Via Anna Hopkins for England’s Daily Mail.

It is not known if the vandalism was random, or related to the recent loss. Vandalism is despicable, but if the spray painting was deliberate, it’s a special kind of creep or creeps.

Images also emerged of Rousey outside her home. She looks comfortable, all things considered.

This is only the third Rousey sighting since her loss. The first was an official statement provided by her team to ESPN’s Ramona Shelburne. The second was a quote on Instagram from Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling – “And so rock bottom became the solid foundation on which I rebuilt my life.”

Whether that rebuilding of her life includes mixed martial arts is unknown. Below UFC color commentator Joe Rogan discusses the possibility of her retiring.

Given that she said was already winding down her MMA career, back to back losses would not seem to indicate there are great reasons for her to continue. it would seem that her MMA career is wound down, leaving her with eight-figures, her marbles, and a world of opportunity. That is as good as it gets.
