UFC Fight Pass Invitational returns to UFC Apex featuring grappling superstar Gordan Ryan in main event

Event to stream live and exclusively on UFC Fight Pass on Thursday, December 15.

LAS VEGAS – UFC Fight Pass, the world's leading streaming service for combat sports, recently announced UFC Fight Pass Invitational 3, a submission-only Brazilian jiu-jitsu competition that will be headlined by grappling superstar Gordan Ryan in a super fight matchup. The UFC Fight Pass Invitational 3 will stream live from UFC Apex in Las Vegas on Thursday, December 15.

More details, including start time, Ryan's opponent, and other competitors, will be announced in the coming weeks.

Ryan is considered by many to be the greatest no-gi grappler of all time due to his accomplishments and dominance. Ryan is currently on a fifty-four consecutive win streak and has not experienced a single loss in the last four years. He is a five-time ADCC world champion, two-time IBJJF no-gi world champion, two-time IBJJF Pan American champion, and four-time Eddie Bravo Invitational champion.

This event will be the third iteration of the UFC Fight Pass Invitational, a Brazilian jiu-jitsu tournament created and produced by UFC Fight Pass. The inaugural UFC Fight Pass Invitational took place in December 2021 with teams from regional mixed martial arts promotions LFA, CFFC, Fury FC and James Krause's Fighting Alliance Championship. The second UFC Fight Pass Invitational closed out UFC International Fight Week earlier this year in July with an action-packed event featuring Urijah Faber's A1 Combat, Jorge Masvidal's iKON FC, James Krause's Fighting Alliance Championship, and the winning team, Anthony Pettis' Fighting Championship.
