'UFC on ESPN 39: Dos Anjos vs. Fiziev' live results
LAS VEGAS – MMA Underground was on scene and reporting live from Saturday's UFC on ESPN 39 event, and you can get results from the event below.
UFC on ESPN 39 took place at UFC Apex. The card aired in its entirety on ESPN and streamed on ESPN+.
In the main event, former UFC lightweight champion and current No. 7 contender Rafael dos Anjos (31-14 MMA, 20-12 UFC) took on the No. 10-ranked Rafael Fiziez (12-1 MMA, 6-1 UFC).
A planned matchup between Cynthia Calvillo (9-4-1 MMA, 6-4-1 UFC) and Nina Nunes (10-7 MMA, 4-4 UFC) was pulled from the card in the hours leading up to the event. Illness forced Nunes out of the matchup, which is expected to be rescheduled for next month.
