UFC featherweight fighter Cub Swanson talks with trainers and fellow fighters as he cools down after a sparring session at Joel Diaz’s boxing gym, Friday, Dec. 3, 2021, in Indio, Calif.

The Nevada State Athletic Commission has released the UFC Vegas 45 medical suspensions exclusively to MixedMartialArts.com, and four winners from the action-filled card could be forced to the sidelines for up to six months with injuries incurred during their bouts inside the UFC APEX.

UFC Vegas 45 took place this past Saturday in Las Vegas, Nev. The event was headlined by a battle of top-10 talents in the heavyweight division. As former title challenger Derrick Lewis (26-8) faced fast-rising prospect Chris Daukas (12-4) in a five-round affair. However, "The Black Beast" only needed less than four minutes to smash Daukaus and earn a UFC record-breaking thirteenth knockout victory.

Both men made it through their fight without suffering any serious injuries.

The same can not be said for long-time featherweight star Cub Swanson (28-12). The 38-year-old looked outstanding in beating Darren Elkins (26-10) by technical knockout in the first round of their main card matchup. However, in victory, "Killer" injured a finger on his right hand, and could be out until June unless cleared by an orthopedic doctor first.
