When champion Kamaru Usman looks to defend his championship for a fifth straight time against top contender and former interim titleholder Colby Covington.

Kamaru Usman vs Colby Covington

Kamaru Usman (19-1) versus Colby Covington (16-2) was one of the best welterweight title fights ever, and just an absolute classic in division history. Since that first scrap, “The Nigerian Nightmare” has only gotten better in title defenses against Jorge Masvidal and Gilbert Burns. The question is, has “Chaos” improved enough to keep up with the champion after having just one fight since that night in December 2019? If he hasn’t, this matchup may not be quite as competitive as the first time around.

Prediction: Usman by split-decision

Rose Namajunas vs Zhang Weili

Rose Namajunas’ return to strawweight prominence at UFC 261 was a career-low point for Zhang Weili. It was Zhang’s first loss in seven years and it came by way of a destructive first-round head kick knockout that will play on “Thug Rose’s” highlight reel for the rest of her career. UFC 268 offers redemption for the Chinese star. However, it also is a chance for Namajunas to make up for a short run during her first reign as division queen.

Prediction: Namajunas by unanimous decision

Justin Gaethje vs Michael Chandler

Michael Chander (22-6) versus Justin Gaethje (22-3) was one of several fights that fans hoped for when Chandler joined the UFC after a legendary 10 year run in Bellator. However, this fight has only increased in interest over the last few months as the two have traded barbs in interviews and on social media. What was an important battle of elite talents in the division, could be an all-out war between two fellas who really don’t care for each other.

Prediction: Gaethje by TKO, round 3
